A CILGERRAN driver who pulled out of a junction and collided with another vehicle has been found guilty of driving without due care and attention and fined.

Brian Reginald Rouse, of Maesllawddog, Cilgerran, pulled out into the path of another car on the A4219 at Llangloffen Cross, Haverfordwest, colliding with the offside wing of the other vehicle on May 15. The driver of the other car injured her neck.

Llanelli Magistrates’ Court found the case against Rouse proved in his absence and fined the 73-year-old £440.

He was also ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £44 victim surcharge, while six penalty points were added to his driving licence.
