A CONTROVERSIAL planning application to build a dog breeding kennels at Beulah has been withdrawn.
The proposal for the kennels, along with a bungalow, garage and stables at Blaengwrog, Beulah, provoked a storm of opposition and comments on Ceredigion County Council’s website.
An on-line petition has been set up to oppose the scheme, describing the venture as a puppy farm. It has so far attracted more than 7,600 signatures.
The plans had been due to come before the development control committee but have now been withdrawn.
