CATCHING or missing a bus is accepted as part of everyday life for residents using the town service in Cardigan.
But everything is not as it seems on the Bro Teifi estate where a displayed timetable could be considered somewhat out of date.
The notice states that the service via Bro Teifi, North Park and Maesglas is in operation as from May 2000 and that some journeys are operated when the Dewhirst Factory is open.
Dewhirst, which produced menswear on a site at Bathhouse, closed 17 years ago this month with a large number of job losses.
Resident Brian Davies said: “We enjoy a first class town service but the Dewhirst journeys are a bit obsolete – by nearly two decades.”
