A BALD tyre has cost a Newcastle Emlyn driver almost £200 in a fine and costs plus penalty points on his licence.
Richard James, of Adpar, Newcastle Emlyn, was driving a VW Golf at Newcastle Emlyn on September 11 on which the front nearside tyre was exposed to the core.
The 56-year-old pleaded guilty under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court and was fined £80 with £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge. His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.
