On Wednesday, November 13, Neyland’s Paul Sartori store once again held an extremely successful Ladies Night, raising more than £2,000.

The unique retail experience at the Kensington Road store added to the previous successful ladies nights.

These events are so popular and renowned now that there were long queues well before the doors opened at 7pm.

Twice a year these much-anticipated, exclusive events in raise amazing amounts for people living in the final stages of a life limiting illness and support their families, and this event was certainly no exception, raising £2,014 for the charity.

There was an excellent range of quality pre-loved clothes including designer and special occasion wear (some brand new with tags) and many other items including hats, handbags and shoes at great prices!

Once again, the volunteer team at Sartori Store, Neyland, who are the backbone to this event, have been busy for months preparing for this event and it could not have taken place without the efforts of the volunteers who helped.

Also helping on the night and serving drinks to the customers were local teenagers completing their Welsh Baccalaureate and Duke of Edinburgh Award.

“It was a wonderful night. As a Neyland resident myself, there is always a great buzz around town in the lead up to Ladies Night,” said Judith Williams, grants coordinator at Paul Sartori, “and the amount raised this time is amazing – well done Maggie and the volunteer team.”
