MILFORD Haven’s Christmas lights were officially turned on in front of a good crowd on Saturday, December 7.
Prior to the switch-on there were chidren’s rides outside the town hall while St Katherine’s Players were out and about handing out glow sticks.
The Lantern parade began from 4pm from the Memorial Gardens with a good number taking part.
Neyland Ladies Choir also provided entertainment outside the town hall.
The Milford Haven Ladies Circle also helped out with the parade which was joined by Milford Haven Town Band and the cast of the Torch Theatre’s Aladdin.
The lights were then turned on at 5pm by Father Christmas who was joined by the Mayor’s competition winners.
Mayor, Cllr Terry Davies said: “It went great. It was a lovely turnout and it was well supported. I was very proud of the town."
Children are invited to write letters to Santa and leave it in a postbox at the town hall.
Milford Haven Town Council have reminded everyone to leave an address on their letter so that Santa can reply to each letter he gets.
