AROUND 300 people braved the cold weather on Saturday (December 14) for Milford Waterfornt’s Santa and Sparkle event.
Hundreds of children, along with their parents, turned out to see Santa, many of whom were visiting him for the first time.
The children were entertained by Sparkle the elf whilst they waited and they were also given sweets from Scott’s sweet shop.
They were also invited to take part in the reindeer trail to find the hidden reindeer inside the shops on the waterfront.
Those who completed the trail were put into a hat with Santa drawing the winners of a hamper.
It was described as a ‘brilliant day for all’.
