THE precept for Milford Haven has decreased after the Town Council agreed its spending plans for the year 2020/21.
The Town Council met on Thursday night (January 9) to discuss financial applications from a number of organisations in the town.
Following that, rates for an average Band D property household were set at £36.49, reduced from £37.45.
That is a decrease of 2.56%.
Some councillors were concerned about the decrease at a time when services are being cut while others welcomed the new figure.
Cllr Eric Harries proposed that the precept be set at £36.49 and that was supported unanimously.
