PROVIDENCE Training Ltd Director, David Warrell, recently presented a voucher for £1000s worth of training to young people supported by Milford Youth Matters.

Charity Coordinator, Dayle Gibby, expressed his thanks to Providence for their support in providing training opportunities for young people assisted by the charity.

Training on offer will include first aid, safety passports, working at height, manual handling, confined space entry and safe use of abrasive wheels. All courses are recognized by many employers including those in the Energy Sector.

David Warrell indicated that individuals like Jack, Nigel and Jordan would not only benefit from the attainment of certification but also have the chance to mix with other course delegates from local industry and gain a better understanding of employment opportunities.

He added that it is essential that young people recognize the potential available to them especially within the Energy Sector of Pembrokeshire and are made aware of the skills required to gain employment within this well paid element of our local economy.

He concluded by stating that it can be difficult for young people to decide which career path to follow so during 2020 Providence Training hopes to offer skills tasting sessions to help their decision process.
