PEMBROKE Street Pastors is looking for new members to join its group caring for the vulnerable.

The street pastors are trained volunteers who take to the streets on a weekend, at a time when most of us are snugly tucked up in bed. They can be very busy when the pubs and clubs close and aim to befriend and care for those who may be vulnerable.

If you would like to be a street pastor or prayer pastor you will need a reference from your church leader and one other person.

All training is free.

If you are interested in becoming a street pastor or prayer pastor, or would like to know more about the Street Pastors, see Pembroke Street Pastors on Facebook, or join members at their AGM on January 30, 7pm in Pembroke Town Hall to find out more.
