A Cardigan driver has been fined for speeding
A CARDIGAN driver caught speeding at Newcastle Emlyn must pay more than £400 and has had her licence endorsed.
Dionne Tracey Scott, of Maesglas, Cardigan, pleaded guilty under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court to driving a Skoda Octavia at 44mph in a 30mph zone on the A484 Cardigan Road, Newcastle Emlyn, on November 7.
The 51-year-old was fined £293, with £85 prosecution costs and a £32 victim surcharge. Her driving licence was endorsed with four penalty points.
A charge of failing to give information to the police as to the identity of a driver alleged to have been guilty of an offence was withdrawn.
