THE 30th Anniversary of Music Making in Milford Haven commenced with a thrilling James Bond Concert on 007th March at the Torch Theatre, organised by the Milford Haven Music Festival Committee.

This concert was given by Q The Music Show - the world’s leading James Bond themed band, which was the first band in the world to provide a tribute to the music of James Bond.

Their concept was to take the amazing music of 007 and reproduce it with a mini orchestra line up.

So the band founder brought together some of the UK’s very best professional talent - musicians who are at the very top of their game instrumentally and understand that their performance contribute greatly to the wow factor they create, which was certainly appreciated by the almost sell out audience on Saturday.

Visitors were drawn to the event from Bromsgrove, Crewe and Sandhurst to name just a few.

The concert goers heard the captivating contribution from the Shirley Basset type Voice of Kerry Schultz and the accomplished voice of Matt Walker, with well-known favourites like Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever, and Skyfall. This fantastic ensemble was directed by the outstanding Trumpet player, Warren Ringham.

Committee member Ralph Rees who revealed his concept and idea for a James Bond Spectacular, thanked the audience, the advertorial sponsors, festival friends, committee members and Torch Theatre Staff, who had all contributed to the great success of this event.

This amazing evening ended with a sustained standing ovation by the appreciative audience, marking the commencement of 30 years of music making celebrations in Milford Haven with the Festival being launched shortly.
