POLICE in Milford Haven have been educating drivers as to what constitutes essential travel as they look to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

On Friday, March 27, Milford Haven NPT posted on their Twitter page that they had a 'busy day' as they visited a number of tourist hotspots.

Officers went to the Havens, Neyland, coastal path car parks and cycle paths and told several drivers that travelling to a location to exercise is not essential travel.

Neyland Yacht Haven has also reminded members that the car park near the Westfield Pill nature reserve in Neyland has also been temporarily closed.

They said on their Facebook page: "This is following the Government’s current restrictions which do not permit people to use vehicles to travel to locations to exercise or walk dogs."
