A MAN has been arrested and is currently in police custody following the alleged theft of a John Deere Gator vehicle from a farm near Llanllwni last night (Thursday, April 2) at 8pm.
The stolen Gator has been recovered on the A485 after a 4x4 was stopped and seized near Carmarthen.
Llandysul Police are appealing for information from motorists travelling between Llanllwni and New Inn who may have witnessed a silver coloured Mitsubishi L200 and the Gator in convoy.

A police spokesperson added: “We urge farmers, despite the lockdown, to ensure that vehicles, machinery, tools are secure.
“Property marking, trackers, CCTV are security measures you can utilise. Criminals will not abide by Government guidelines and will continue to target vulnerable locations during the coronavirus pandemic.”
