HM Coastguard Dale assisted in rescuing the sailor
A RECREATIONAL sailor had to be rescued by HM Coastguard Dale in the early hours of Thursday morning (July 23).
The coastguard team were called at 1:30am to the Mackerel Stage in Milford Haven after the sailor had injured themselves at Dale Bay.
The vessel was towed by Angle Lifeboat RNLI to Milford Haven, to facilitate the medical evacuation.
The coastguard removed the casualty from the vessel and handed over to the care of Welsh Ambulance Service.
