DRINK and DRUG drivers have been caught by police on our roads.

HERE is a round-up of those who have been named for drink or drug-drug driving in Sussex magistrates’ courts.

JOSEPH BEAL

Aged 38, of Bolsover Road, Eastbourne, admitted drink-driving in an Audi TT in Arlington Road. Tested positive for 121 microgrammes (mcg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres (ml) of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath. To do ten rehabilitation sessions and 120 hours of unpaid work, surcharge £95, costs £85. Three-year ban.

LUKE SCANLON

Aged 35, of Netley Road, Morden, London, admitted drug-driving in a Vauxhall in Marine Drive, Brighton, and possession of cannabis. Tested positive for cannabis. To do six rehabilitation sessions and 80 hours of unpaid work, surcharge £90, costs £85. One-year ban.

SAMIDUR QURESHI

Aged 24, of HMP Lewes, admitted drug-driving on the A23 in a Mercedes near Haywards Heath. Tested positive for cannabis. Fined £120, surcharge £34. One-year ban.

PAUL SMITH

Aged 46, of Old Farm Close, Haywards Heath, admitted drug-driving in an Audi in London Road, Handcross. Tested positive for cocaine. Fined £120, surcharge £34, costs £85. Three-year ban.

GOSIA SPICER

Aged 36, of Fillery Way, Henfield, admitted drink-driving in a Renault in Henfield High Street. Tested positive for 265 milligrams (mg) of alcohol per 100ml of blood. The legal limit is 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood. To do 120 hours of unpaid work, surcharge £95, costs £85. Two year and two months ban.

PHILLIP TILL

Aged 34, of Pinewood Way, St Leonards, admitted drug-driving in a Nissan in Churchwood Drive, Hastings. Tested positive for cocaine. Fined £330, surcharge £34, costs £85. One-year ban.

THOMAS SHAW

Aged 37, of Ashdown Road, Bexhill, admitted drug-driving in a BMW in Ninfield Road, Bexhill. Tested positive for cocaine. Fined £220, surcharge £34, costs £85. Three-year ban.

Aged 53, of Hillside Road, Bexhill, admitted riding an electric scooter in Bexhill while unfit through drink. Fined £80, surcharge £34, costs £85. One-year ban.

Aged 44, of Highland Avenue, Uckfield, admitted drink-driving in a Vauxhall Vivaro at Halland. Tested positive for 65mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath. Fined £576, surcharge £57, costs £85. 17-month ban.

SIMON KNIGHT

Aged 41, of Haven Close, Pevensey, admitted drug-driving on the A27 at Polegate in a Honda. Tested positive for cocaine. Fined £120, surcharge £34, costs £85. One-year ban.
