To celebrate World Oceans' Day on Tuesday, June 8, Sam and Amy from the Dragon LNG Darwin Experience explored Gelliswick beach with two Year 5 classes from Gelliswick VC School.
Pupils became marine biologists for the day and explored the shallows of their local beach through seine-netting, push-netting and rock-pooling.
On the day, they found a huge variety of creatures including flatfish, sticklebacks and some impressive velvet swimming crabs.
