A MAN has been fined after damaging a wall in Haverfordwest.

Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court heard that Michael George Carruthers, of Robert Street, Milford Haven, damaged a wall – which was described as internal – to a value, not specified, but said to be under £5,000.

The incident took place on April 21 with the wall owned by Hywel Dda Bro Morgannwg.

Twenty-nine-year-old Carruthers pleaded guilty to the charge at the county town’s Magistrates’ Court on July 6.

Carruthers committed the offence under two conditional discharge orders, and one community order - the community order made as recent as June 15 at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court. Despite this no further punishment was taken and all three orders are to continue.

Carruthers was fined £40 and will also have to pay compensation and a surcharge amounting to £134, which he has until the beginning of August to pay.
