Dyfed-Powys Police officers have executed two drugs raids on the same housing estate in Milford Haven in the past week.

On Sunday, May 22, a raid was executed in Birch Mead on the Mount Estate, conducted by the response team and neighbourhood policing team from Milford Haven Police Station.

During the raid, the firearms unit and dogs unit was also in attendance, assisting the officers.

The second of the drug warrants was secured earlier this week, with a raid being executed on Elm Lane on the same estate.

On this warrant execution were the response team, neighbourhood policing team and prisoner processing team, with further assistance again from the joint firearms unit and the dogs unit.

A spokesperson from Milford Haven Police said: “We remain committed to safeguarding our communities from the dangers of drugs and the associated crimes resulting from drug activities.”

Elsewhere in Pembrokeshire, three drivers who got behind the wheel after taking drugs or drinking have been arrested.

A man was arrested in Haverfordwest during the early hours of Sunday morning, for providing a positive roadside drug wipe for cannabis.

Having provided blood samples, he was released under investigation, pending their analysis.

A second man was arrested in the afternoon following a stop check by Pembrokeshire RPU in the Haverfordwest area.

The driver tested positive for cannabis. He has since been released under investigation pending his blood results.

Also in Haverfordwest in the early hours a man was arrested for drink driving. He initially failed to provide a specimen at the roadside, but went on to provide two positive readings in custody and has been charged accordingly.
