A two-car crash on the A40 yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, September 4) led to part of the road being closed for over two hours and a person taken to hospital.
The collision took place on the westbound carriageway of the road near Canaston Bridge and resulted in the stretch between Canaston Bridge and Penblewin being closed.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: "Police attended a two vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at about 4.30pm, Wednesday 4th September, 2024.
"A black Smart Fortwo and a red Seat Ibiza were involved in the collision on the westbound carriageway of the A40 near Canaston Bridge.
"One person was taken to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.
"The road was closed and reopened at 6.45pm."
