Dear Sir,
I was disgusted to read last week that hunt supporters had decided to protest outside the home of MP Nick Ainger.
Like Mr Ainger said, his neighbours have absolutely nothing to do with the situation and there is no excuse for disturbing them so early with hunting horns on a Sunday morning.
Of course people have the right to protest but I can't for a moment think that the hunt supporters won any sympathy for their cause in this way.
If they felt that their point had to be made, why didn't they protest outside his office instead of his home?
Thankfully it was a peaceful demonstration but the scenes outside Parliament last week showed how quickly things can get out of hand.
Imagine what could have happened had some of Mr Ainger's neighbours taken exception to being disturbed so early and confronted those making the noise.
I would suggest that in the future the hunt supporters think more carefully about how they want to get their point across.
