A HARVEST festival collection has raised £120 for the charity Left Heart Matters.
It was year 5 of Milford Haven Junior School that made the collection and presented the money last week to Claire Evans.
Claire is the mother of Daniel Evans-Critten, the Milford youngster born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLS), a condition that requires a series of major operations.
Because HLS affects just one in 5000 babies, Claire and Danny's father David Critten needed support and information about their son's condition. That information came from Left Heart Matters and since then Claire and David have raised money for the charity.
Claire attended a special assembly at the Junior School to pick up the cheque on behalf of the charity.
