There are no women in Pembrokeshire County Council’s cabinet, despite 50% of local residents being female.

And there are no representatives from the county’s hub towns, which also represents half the population.

So does that mean the leader, Councillor John Davies, favours minority administrations?

That question is due to be asked at a meeting of full council today (Thursday) by Councillor Bob Kilmister, the representative for Dinas Cross.

He wants to know if Councillor Davies is ‘comfortable’ with the position.
