Brendan Cole and Liberty Poole have been named as the early favourites for winning Dancing on Ice 2022 according to the bookmakers Betfair.

The celebrity contestants list was rounded up today with Kimberly Wyatt from the Pussycat Dolls being confirmed this morning.

This was before Connor Ball from The Vamps was announced as the final member for the 2022 programme.

Betfair announced their early odds for the eventual winner, with Strictly Come Dancing professional Brendan Cole being the favourite at 3/1.

Love Island’s Liberty Poole was not far behind though at 4/1.

The dancer Regan Gascoigne, the youngest son of former footballer Paul, was third favourite at 5/1 with rugby player Ben Foden at 6/1.

At the other end of the scale actress Sally Dynevor was second worst, rated at 33/1, with Bez from Happy Mondays being most unlikely at 35/1.

Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: "Dancing on Ice fans are primed for another series of slipping and spinning in the new year - and with his dancing pedigree on Strictly, it is no surprise Brendan Cole has been installed as the early 3/1 favourite to win 2022's instalment after the celeb lineup was formalised today.

"But the Kiwi has stiff competition on the ice in the form of Love Island fan favourite Liberty Poole just behind him on 4/1 and Paul Gascoigne's son Regan at 5/1.

“Meanwhile, Happy Mondays mascot Bez brings up the rear at 35/1 to win the show, with Corrie star Sally Dyvenor also a long-shot at 33/1."
