POLICE are appealing for information after a man was allegedly bitten by a dog at a south Pembrokeshire beauty spot.

The man was bitten by a dog at Canaston Woods car park, near Narberth, at around 12.30pm on Tuesday, September 18.

The dog’s owner, a man driving a silver 4x4/SUV, had three dogs which were not on a lead.

One is described as a large, white dog with long hair; the second, which bit the victim, was a small, stocky, brown dog thought to be a Staffordshire bull terrier type breed. There is no description for the third dog.

The man received minor injuries to his arm and torso.
