THE new term at Wiston’s St Aidan’s Church in Wales VA School started with elections taking place for Head Boy and Head Girl.
All year 6 pupils are invited to give speeches to the whole school as to why they would be a good role model and represent their school with pride.
The whole school, including Nursery, comes together to hear the speeches and vote upon their preferred candidate.
Even the staff have a vote.
This year, the school is proud to announce James Clark is head boy and Katie Tamilia is head girl.
Their deputies are Kaelan Davies and Eira Adam Jones.
Head teacher Wendy MacGarvie said: “We are fully in support of them and know they will showcase the school at every opportunity.”
