AMROTH pub The Temple Bar has been busy throughout September, holding various events to raise funds for Paul Sartori Hospice at Home services.

The pub has held a raffle every Tuesday evening during its bingo, and a quiz and raffle on a Wednesday evening, helping raise much-needed funds for the charity.

“Ian Wilkinson, owner of The Temple Bar has done a fantastic job arranging these events, and we are very pleased that he chose to support The Paul Sartori Foundation,” said Lisa Wells, income generation team administrator.

Fiona Ramsden, manager of Tenby and Narberth Sartori Stores said “We are so grateful of The Temple Bar’s support by holding all these events. Dave Richardson, Roy Lewis, Marion Lewis and Mike Kingston were the quiz masters who also did a great job. Raising over £500 is a fantastic achievement.”

Pat Coombs, Clinical Co-Ordinator at Paul Sartori added: “Every penny raised is used to put support back into our community. This fantastic amount could allow us to purchase a pressure-relieving mattress or provide two registered nurses for three nights of care. Thank you for choosing to donate your funds to Paul Sartori Foundation.”

The Paul Sartori Hospice at Home Service provides a range of services to Pembrokeshire people living in the final stages of any life-limiting illness.
