A MAN has been taken to Withybush Hospital after collapsing at Llys Y Fran Reservoir this morning.
Emergency services were called to the Dwr Cymru reservoir at around 9.30am.
Originally it was believed that a man has been rescued from the water and police issued a statement to that effect.
But emergency services at the scene confirmed a man had collapsed while out walking and had not entered the water.
Fire crews from Haverfordwest, Milford Haven and Carmarthen were at the scene as well as police a land ambulance and an air ambulance.
A fire service spokesman said:“At 09:30hrs on Thursday 22nd November 2018, Fire crews from Haverfordwest, Milford Haven and Carmarthen are currently in attendance to an incident at Llys Y Fran Reservoir near Haverfordwest.
“The incident is currently ongoing and is being led by Dyfed-Powys police.”
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said:
“We were called today (November 22, 2018) at approximately 9.25am to an incident at Llys y Fran Reservoir in Pembrokeshire. We responded with one emergency ambulance and one air ambulance, where a male patient was taken to Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest.”
