Failing to update the DVLA of a change of address has cost a Hubberston man £840.
Nicholas Kerrison, represented himself when he appeared at Haverfordwest magistrates court on Tuesday, December 4.
Kerrison, 35, pleaded guilty to using a vehicle which was unlicensed on Freemans Way, Haverfordwest, on January 29.
The court heard that the vehicle had been untaxed since August 2016, and Kerrison stated he had failed to update his address after moving house.
Magistrates fined him £450 and ordered him to pay £85 court costs and £305 in back-duty.
The chairman of the bench said: “If you had filled in your form when you changed your address, and informed the DVLA, you would not be here today.”
