A MULTI-AGENCY search for a missing person took place near Pendine on Tuesday afternoon, December 4.
Shortly after 1.30pm, Tenby Coastguard Rescue team and both Tenby lifeboats, along with HM Coastguard Llansteffan, and Burry Port Coastguard Rescue team were paged to assist police with a search for a missing person at Morfa Bychan.
Both of Tenby’s RNLI lifeboats were requested to launch at 1.40pm.
The lifeboats were quickly on the water and the volunteer crew made best speed to the scene, some six miles north-east of the station.
As the boats were approaching Morfa Bychan, news came through that the person had been found safe and well.
The lifeboats were stood down and returned to station, arriving at 2.25pm.
