BANNED: Peter Rees, who made headlines in January after being forced to walk 23 miles home from hospital, was almost three times over the drink-drive limit when stopped in August.
A charge of grievous bodily harm will be faced by a Saundersfoot man at crown court.
Charlie Gammer, of North Close, gave no indication of plea when he appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates on Tuesday, December 4, and the court entered a not guilty plea on his behalf.
It is alleged that the incident occurred in Haverfordwest on March 18.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction and Gammer, 21, will next appear at Swansea crown court on January 4.
He was released on bail with the condition not to contact the complainant.
