A drug-driver had been banned from the road for a year.
Ryan Richards, of Peregrine Close, Haverfordwest, pleaded guilty to driving while over the controlled drug limit when he appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates on Tuesday, December 11.
The court heard that police could smell cannabis coming from Richards’ Citroen C4 when they stopped it for a routine check on Old Hakin Road, Haverfordwest on October 11.
A roadside test was positive and Richards was arrested.
Mark Layton, defending, said Richards, 30, had ceased using cannabis since the offence.
Magistrates fined Richards £120 and ordered him to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.
He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.
