YSGOL Bro Gwaun's school eisteddfod, held last month, showcased a variety of competitions from dancing, mime, choir, YBG has talent and house bands.
The school has recently had new houses created and pupils from Arwyr (Heroes), Celtiaid (Celts) and Dreigiau (Dragons) had spent weeks preparing and rehearsing their entries.

The day's competitions were judged by members of Menter Iaith Sir Benfro. They were thanked for their contribution to the event, as were the Year 11 house captains who helped prepare everyone for the competition and the staff who supported the pupils.
During a whole school assembly at the end of the week, the winning poet was chaired.
The ceremony was led by headteacher, Paul Edwards, with Emma Bowen delivering the Gorsedd blessing.
The winning poet was Pebe Salmon, a Year 9 pupil from Arwyr.
She was taken to the stage by staff members Louise Wakely and Lovaine Jones. Bethan Harkin played the piano while the chairing song was sung by Miss George. The winning poet was greeted by teachers Mrs Page-Jones, Min Walsh, Rhian Scrimshaw and Alana Finn.
Iago Evans from Celtiaid house came runner up.
"Thank you to everyone who took part in ensuring the success of the ceremony and congratulations to Phebe on her success," said a school spokesman.
