A BEACH visitor, injured after slipping on rocks at Amroth, was helped to safety by Tenby Coastguard yesterday afternoon, April 17.

Posting on Facebook, HM Coastguard Tenby wrote: “Tenby coastguard rescue team were paged at 12.27pm to the east end of Amroth beach to assist Welsh ambulance service with the medical evacuation of a casualty.

“The casualty had slipped on rocks at the far end of the beach and sustained injuries. CRT officers assisted the casualty from the beach into the care of awaiting paramedics who provided further treatment.”
