OVER 60 charity motorcyclists - dressed as daredevil legend Evel Knievel – have been riding through Pembrokeshire today, May 4.
They have been calling into the county as part of Ride Cymru 2019, which covers the 1,070 mile perimeter of Wales.
The annual event is now in its eighth year, and has raised more than £70,000 for charity in the process. This year, it will be again raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The riders, known as the Cymru Knievels, set off from Wrexham on Thursday, motorcycling for up to 12 hours a day.
The Pembrokeshire leg included a stop-off in Tenby High Street at 10.30am this morning, a lunch stop at Pembroke Dock and a brief call into St Davids.
The grand finish of the event in Wrexham on Monday will also be a Guinness World Record attempt for the ‘largest gathering of Evel Knievels’ to date.
