AN ESTIMATED £2,300 worth of cocaine, hidden inside a coffee cup, was seized by police near Whitland yesterday, May 4.
Posting on Twitter, Pembrokeshire Roads Policing Unit wrote: "Stop check of a vehicle with Carmarthenshire Roads Policing Unit near Whitland yesterday. Wraps of cocaine weighing 59g seized - hidden in a takeaway coffee cup.
“Male tested positive for cocaine.
“Vehicle running illegally on red diesel. Male arrested accordingly and vehicle seized.”
The quoted ‘street’ price of cocaine usually varies between £30 and £40 per gram.
