COULD your daughter be the star of a Hollywood film alongside Star Wars' new villain?

A casting company will be holding auditions in Carmarthen tomorrow (Saturday, May 11) for a young girl, to star in a movie called Annette alongside actors Adam Driver and Michelle Williams.

The call from Des Hamilton, a casting company based in London, reads as follows:

"We are currently casting a lead role in a major feature film for a world-renowned director and are seeking: a Caucasian girl 4-7 years old, a confident singer.

"No acting experience is necessary and anyone who goes on to feature in the film will be well paid.

"If your daughter fits the brief and would like to try out, please bring them along."

Annette is directed by French filmmaker Leos Carax and is an experimental musical about a stand-up comedian's supernaturally gifted child.

Milford Mercury:

Michelle Williams starred in the 2017 film The Greatest Showman alongside Hugh Jackman.

Adam Driver is known for his role as Kylo Ren in the Star Wars sequel films.
