HAVEN Angling Group members fished a match in memory of Jordan Carter on Sunday.
The match was to be fished for wrasse only and attracted a very good turnout.
The fishing was very good with most anglers weighing in.
The winner of the Jordan Carter Shield was junior member Oliver Kucyj with a beautiful ballan wrasse weighing in at over 4lbs.
Second place and keeping it in the family was Oliver's dad Lee with a ballan wrasse just under 4lbs. Third was Jack Lewis with a ballan wrasse weighing 3lbs 8oz.
On Sunday, September 22 the club are holding their annual open fishing competition on Pendine Sands. It carries a first prize of £300 for the heaviest flounder.
