THE 2018 Tour of Pembrokeshire Prologue Ride gave cyclists a flavour of what’s in store when the annual event takes place on Saturday, May 19.
Large numbers gathered at the tour ‘headquarters’ at Crug Glas Country House before setting off on either the 25 or 40 mile routes.
And after completing their rides, they were able to enjoy the company of David Kenning, deputy editor of BikesEtc, Jennifer Trotman of Cyclosport and Andrew Mathias - who gave a motivational talk after recently riding around the coast of the UK.
The tour is now in its 11th year, and for 2018 has chosen The Paul Sartori Foundation, The Wales Air Ambulance and the RNLI as its three chosen charities - and money raised from the prologue ride was donated to those causes.
In May, those taking part can opt for 25, 50, 75, or 100-mile routes - with the latter incorporating more than 1000 feet of climbing.
And then the following day on Sunday, May 20, there will be an adventure day where riders and their family and friends can enjoy wildlife trips with Falcon Boats and or activities with Preseli Venture.
