Manderwood Pembrokeshire League Division 1: Merlins Bridge 5-0 Saundersfoot Sports
Merlins Bridge produced an impressive team display to comfortably dispatch of mid-table Saundersfoot Sports at The Racecourse.
After beating Hakin last week this could have been a tricky fixture for the home side, but Marcus Taylor and Matthew D’Ivry’s team led 3-0 at the break and scored two further goals without reply in the second half.
Dai Davies opened the scoring in the 8th minute, the midfielder unleashing an impressive 35 yard screamer.
Left winger Will Haworth turned in the second and Nathan Greene added the third to all but seal the points by the break.
After half time Haworth grabbed his second and Joe Leahy was on target with the fifth and final goal - meanign The Wizards stay unbeaten, three points off leaders Carew but with two games in hand.
Saundersfoot drop two places to eighth.
