Division 2: Fishguard Sports 2-0 St Ishmaels

Late goals from Keegan Summers and Danny Hopkin sent Fishguard Sports top of Division 2 as they beat Tish at Tregroes.

The visitors had a strong wind at their backs in the first 45 minutes, but were unable to capitalise as the sides went in 0-0 at the break.

And the visitors then had two goals disallowed after the break, while for Fishguard Lewis Banks rattled the bar with a 30 yard free kick.

But with less than 20 minutes left, the home side led when a Gareth Mathias cross was met by Keegan Summers - and he headed in at the back post with the Tish defenders appealing for offside.

The visitors tried to respond but some late corners came to nothing, and then in the final minute a mishit goal kick from away keeper Danny Howells fell to sub Danny Hopkin, and he fired into an empty net to seal the win for The Sports.

Johnston's defeat at Camrose meant the three points was enough for Fishguard to go top, as they maintained their perfect start with 21 points from 21.

Tish meanwhile, slip to eighth, but new manager Steve Hastings can take encouragement from the way they tested the new leaders.
