Pennar Robins 2nds will be back in Division Two next season after sealing the Division Three title.

Carl Vincent’s side secured the silverware on March 30th when they won 4-0 at Narberth 2nds, and the manager said it had been a long time coming.

“We came down from Division Two in the 2013/14 season but we’ve built the squad back up. We have a mixture of young and experienced players and the boys have bonded well together.”

Vincent has been assisted by Mark Reed while Phil Hay has skippered the side, and he said he was confident the Robins could cement their place in the second tier next season.

“We have a very good junior section now which the club has built up over a number of seasons so players are coming through - and at the present moment I believe we can hold our own in Division Two.”

From their 25 league games played so far - Pennar 2nds have won 22 of them, drawing once and losing just twice.

They will go up along with local rivals Monkton Swifts 2nds, whose place as league runners up is already secured.

Furthermore, a win for Pennar 3rds at Broad Haven 2nds tomorrow will seem them seal promotion from Division Four - meaning the club will have three teams in the top three Divisions.

"Fingers crossed that can happen and it would be a great achievement," added Vincent.
