Manderwood Pembrokeshire League Division 1: Narberth 0-6 Goodwick United

A first half hat trick from Jonny Horgan kept Goodwick in the title race as the Phoenix Boys blew away Narberth in the first 45 minutes.

Scott Delaney got the ball rolling with an early penalty before Horgan made it 2-0 with a left footed volley.

Rhys Dalling added a third in style, picking the ball up on half way and surging forward before unleashing a 20 yard shot past home keeper Jason Jones.

It was Horgan who then struck twice more before the break as Wayne O’Sullivan’s side cruised into a 5-0 half time lead.

The second half petered out somewhat but there was another goal as Dalling finished well after good work from Horgan and Chris O’Sullivan.

Goodwick remain four points off leaders Monkton and both have two games left, at Hakin next Saturday before going to Monkton Lane on April 24th, and will need to win both to have any chance of taking the title.

Narberth meanwhile, go to Merlins Bridge on Wednesday.
