It was quite a weekend for members of CRA West Wales-BJJ Pembrokeshire.

The group, based at Pembroke Dock, sent 18 junior members to a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu event in Llanelli and produced an amazing set of performances to win 10 Gold, five Silver and two Bronze medals.

At the same time, Naama Geula was competing in the Cheltenham Bjj Open and she won all three of her bouts in the 68.5KG and under category to also come home with a Gold.

And finally, one of the club's MMA fighters fought on Saturday night at the Cage Warriors 104 show in the Viola Arena in Cardiff.

Shaun Powell, who has also recently been selected to represent Wales in June in the amateur MMA European Championships in Rome, won a unanimous decision over Joe Macefield in a 67.5kg and under bout.

CRA West Wales-BJJ Pembrokeshire coach Stuart Tyrie said it had been "a very proud weekend for the club."
