It was a special day for pupils from Hook CP School and Ysgol Caer Elen last Friday as they graced Sophia Gardens for the national Primary School Kwik Cricket finals.
Hook notched a brilliant opening win against Melin Gruffydd before narrow defeats to Ysgol yr Dderwen and Llanishen Fach.
Ysgol Caer Elen went down to three narrow defeats - but were also a credit to themselves and the county.
Afterwards, both Schools played a friendly fixture against each other to round off a special occasion for all involved.
And aside from the players, it was also a good day for Haverfordwest VC pupil Harry Twigg, who helped umpire the day and took charge of the semi final between Tregwenwyg School and Melin Gryfydd. He was invited as an ACO L2 umpire.
