Division 1: Llangwm (133 all out) lost to Cresselly (290-5) by 157 runs

Llangwm are now staring down the barrel of relegation after blistering batting from Dan Sutton and Ryan Lewis helped Cresselly bag a big win at Pill Parks.

The Doves made 150 in 35 overs before that pairing hammered 140 runs in the final 60 balls to effectively bat their hosts out of the contest.

It was Sutton who top scored with 14 fours and seven sixes, giving him 98 in boundaries out of his tally of 139, before he was eventually caught by David Lewis off Matthew Kiff.

Cresselly skipper Ryan Lewis was at his ultra-aggressive best as he reached his half century off only 20 deliveries and was there at the end on 60 not out, having faced 30 balls and rasping seven fours and three sixes.

This was after Mike Venables returned to first-team action with a classy 53 and despite the efforts of Matthew Kiff (2-88), Noah Davies (1-84) and skipper Ollie Davies (2-35 in 12 overs) Llangwm were left with a mountain to climb.

Will Beresford (32) and Luke Brock (22) led the Llangwm reply but with Sam Harts claiming 5-50 alongside Simon Cole (3-28) and Josh Lewis (2-23) Cresselly sealed 30 points in the 30th over.

The result keeps the Doves fourth in the table while Llangwm stay bottom, and 65 points from safety.
