The Pembrokeshire dominated Kung Fu Wales team competed in the British Kung Fu Association Open National Championships in Birmingham.

The journey proved successful and from a team of 12 students across child and adult competitions, they returned with a medal haul of 16 - with no fewer than five golds. The club now can boast three national champions and one double national champion.

Kung Fu Wales is led by instructor Jason Crabtree – Lau Gar Guardian and seventh degree Black Sash. Clubs run weekly in Haverfordwest, Tenby, Narberth and Fishguard.

This was the largest team from the county competing at the national finals for a number of years. Spurred on by family and friends who travelled to support, everybody put in an excellent performance after months of hard training and practice.
