Hakin United's players, coaches, and supporters will set off from The Obs for Barcelona tomorrow - on foot.
The Vikings will collectively be running or walking 1079 miles in seven days - an average of over 30 miles per person involved.
All funds raised from the challenge, that will run until next Sunday, May 3, will go towards the going to Get The Boys A Lift charity with a view to helping those who have faced mental health issues due to the Covic-19 pandemic.
"We have tried to make it a club project so all ages and even supporters can get involved," said first team manager Scott Davies.
"I’ve had supporters offering to walk marathons in seven days to contribute to the mileage. All the runs and walks will be done individually and we'll be sticking to the social distancing guidelines."
1,079 miles is the distance from The Obs to the Camp Nou, and via social media the club will be posting daily updates of progress.
By the early hours of this morning (Sunday), £480 of the £1000 target had already been raised.
