Tributes have been made to former Pembrokeshire footballer and cricketer Alan Cunningham, who sadly died last week, aged 61.
Originally from Edinburgh, Cunningham, who attended the old Haverfordwest Grammar School, played the round ball game for Camrose, Johnston, and Haverfordwest Cricket Club. He also represented the latter in cricket and a statement from The Town read:
“He was an absolutely top man and a gentleman as well. Our condolences go out to all his family and friends.”
The Pembrokeshire Football League also expressed their sorrow.
“We are all very saddened by the news.
“Our thoughts are with Alan’s family through this difficult time.”
Alan's popularity has been evident by the stack of tributes that have been paid via social media.
