Haverfordwest Swimming Club have made a welcome delivery to the Pembrokeshire Foodbank.

Committee members visited Theri Bailey and her team at the group's head office in Narberth with a donation of £150.

"At a time when the Seals' members are without their regular swimming, the club's committee have remained active and agreed on a donation to support a community which is struggling without its regular income," said club Chairman Matthew Lewis.

"The worthy cause of Pembrokeshire Foodbank has staff working hard to boost those in need, with the main food bank available to those with a voucher, and a 'free food share' for anyone in need of food."

The food share runs from 10am-1pm in Haverfordwest and Neyland on Tuesdays, Narberth on Wednesdays, and Pembroke Dock and Letterston on Thursdays.

"The committee hopes the donation helps raise awareness of the great work being done by the Foodbank team during this crisis," added Lewis.
